1. organizer, subject of the competition
The organizer of the competition is RetailTour Global. Participation is subject to a submission fee. Participation in the competition shall in no case give rise to a claim to the awarding of a prize to an entry or to the payment of prize money. The winners in the individual categories will be decided by the voting results from the online voting and the jury assessments of the organizer.
2. eligibility to participate
All individuals as well as groups and/or authorized representatives of institutions or initiatives and projects that can present a retail case are eligible to participate.
3. registration
Registration for participation in the Best Retail Cases Award takes place by nominating cases via the dashboard on the organizer’s website. Case nominations are made exclusively via the dashboard. Only registered users with a paid company profile can submit cases.
By registering, applying and nominating the cases, the participant agrees that the submitted innovations and documents may be used by the organizer for presentation, promotion and documentation in print and online media without restriction. The participant grants the organizer corresponding rights of use free of charge.
Participation in the Best Retail Cases Award is subject to a fee. The costs will be shown at the time of booking and are exclusive of VAT. The participation fee will be charged upon submission via the Dashboard.
4. Admission of applications, nomination of cases, cut-off deadline
Upon successful registration and nomination of the cases, they will be published on the organizer’s website and in other media. The applicant is solely responsible for the correctness and completeness of the contents of the nominated cases. Textual corrections, post-processing of images, etc. by the organizer may be made for the purpose of adjustment. All accepted nominations will be nominated for the Best Retail Cases Award. After admission, nominees will receive promotional material from the organizer for unrestricted use for their marketing purposes. The organizer expressly reserves the right to reject applications and nominations without giving reasons or to request changes.
Closing date for all competition entries and therefore cut-off date for participation in the competition will be announced on the website. Entries that violate the competition rules in any way or are submitted with false information may be excluded from the competition.
5 Voting and award winners
By participating in the voting, the participant agrees that RetailTour Global may use the data provided to inform him/her about the current award and future Best Retail Cases. Partners and sponsors are allowed to use the data for a one-time approach. The use of the data for advertising purposes can be objected to.
Only natural persons who are at least 18 years old at the time of voting are eligible to participate. Participation with forged identities or with identities of third parties is prohibited.
Employees of RetailTour Global may not participate. Participants who violate the conditions of participation may be excluded from participation. If the conditions for exclusion are met, prizes may also be subsequently withdrawn or prizes that have already been delivered or paid for may be reclaimed.
The winners in the individual categories will be decided by the voting results from the online voting and the jury assessments.
6. rights of use
By submitting a Best Retail Case, participants agree to the jury’s review and evaluation of the submitted entries. In the event of a nomination, the contest participants grant the organizers the unlimited right to use the entry in any form for the purposes of implementing, publicizing and evaluating the contest and accompanying public relations measures, such as the creation of videos, press releases, online campaigns on websites and social networks, etc., and to publish these on internal and external websites and in print publications and any other media.
7. copyright and other legal obligations.
Only contributions that do not infringe the rights of third parties (e.g. right to one’s own image, copyright, trademark law, general personal rights) and that do not contain any other inadmissible content can be considered.
Furthermore, no entries will be accepted that contain any other illegal content, in particular discriminatory, racist, xenophobic or offensive content, pornographic content and/or content that violates youth protection regulations or any other undesirable content.
By participating in the competition, the participant assures the organizer that he/she is not aware of any legal claims by third parties to the submitted entries.
8. release from liability
The participant undertakes to indemnify RetailTour Global internally against all claims by third parties based on the use of his/her competition entries if third parties claim that the entries infringe their personal rights, copyrights or other intangible rights. In particular, the participant indemnifies RetailTour Global against all damages arising from such a claim, including reasonable costs of extrajudicial and judicial legal defense.
9 Miscellaneous
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the competition conditions. Information about any changes will be provided in this and/or other appropriate places.
Legal recourse is excluded.
