JMC Software AG is a leading provider of managed IT services and the development of individual e-commerce and e-business solutions in Switzerland. The then sole proprietorship came into being in 1996 when the founder José Lopez was asked to develop a small customer management system during his apprenticeship. As with other success stories, it all began in a hobby room, where the first secure platforms and customised software solutions were realised for clients. Today, JMC, with around 30 employees at various locations in Central Switzerland, supports large customers, but also many SME customers or organisations. The breadth of JMC’s services over the past 25 years is impressive. As early as 1998, JMC created “eL-Driver”, one of the largest eLearning platforms for novice drivers in Europe. Today, JMC operates several hundred virtualised servers in various data centres throughout Switzerland, so that customers can work securely (Tier 4 level) and remotely without interruptions. Customers benefit from customised solutions with state-of-the-art hardware, software and professional service. To ensure that hackers don’t stand a chance, the JMC Conciliator™ was developed and won the German IT Innovation Award.
